How the journal publishes

LetsRinse is a journal for thoughtful, practical writing about cleaning, hygiene, home care and everyday wellbeing. Our aim is to make the source, context and limits of a story easy to understand.

Separate experience from evidence

A writer’s routine or observation can be useful without being a universal recommendation. Contributors should say what they tried, in what conditions, what changed and what they could not establish. Factual and health-related claims should link to evidence that actually supports the statement.

Sources readers can inspect

Prefer primary guidance, original research and first-hand records appropriate to the claim. A research headline is not a settled conclusion. Identify uncertainty, study limitations and relevant dates. Do not present a brand’s promotional statement as an independently verified result.

Submission and review

New contributor articles enter a review queue. An editor can revise, return, publish or schedule a submission. Review is a publishing step, not a guarantee of medical or scientific expertise. An article must not imply clinical review or professional credentials unless those details are actually established.

Health and product claims

Articles provide general education. They do not diagnose, prescribe treatment or promise a health outcome. We do not accept unsupported cure claims, dangerous chemical recipes or disguised product advertising. Describe cleaning methods with their source and relevant product instructions.

AI-assisted material and images

The launch guides were created for this site and include source references. Launch photography is AI-generated editorial imagery, not documentary evidence. Contributors should disclose substantial AI assistance; they remain responsible for accuracy, attribution and permission to use submitted material. Generated text is not a source.

Research updates

The research desk displays licensed material from the original feeds. Attribution, publication dates, source links and licence links stay with each entry. Imported updates are distinct from original LetsRinse stories and are not endorsements or individualized recommendations.

Corrections and significant revisions

Use the contact form, choose “Article or source correction”, and include the article URL, the disputed statement and supporting evidence. The operator can review the source and update the article. Significant factual changes should include a visible correction note; minor spelling repairs need not change a story’s meaning.

Commercial content

No paid placements are currently active. If introduced, advertising and sponsorship must be clearly labelled. Contributors must disclose relevant commercial relationships. A sponsor cannot be presented as independent research evidence.

Respectful discussion

Comments are moderated. Harassment, spam, private personal details and unsafe health claims can be removed. Criticism is welcome when it addresses the claim and provides context.
